I made the Array Compare script first even though I actually don't need anything like it at the moment just because it's a simpler but similar program, and because I thought that as some other users do array trickery to handle strings and this kind of function is found in practically every standard programming library, it could be handy for them.
Also - if I've understood things correctly - some of the OSC patches created by others (I've only had a short test with OSC a long time ago myself) might benefit from something like this.
