in a few words :
you use different midi controllers ?
you have a local network between some computers ?
you use computer 1 with a touch screen as remote to computer 2 ?

what his team say :

CopperLan is a networking system for command & control and streaming management that brings about a comprehensive solution to linking and interfacing pro-audio and musical equipment.

Its powerful virtual network definition can be applied to any physical transport specification present or future as well as running inside a computer, merging all participating members in a single pool.

compatible : PC ( xp,vista,seven ,32 and 64 bits ) MAC-OS X (Mac Intel).

i 've found many uses with Usine..

1: only one computer , several midi controllers , route via some of copperlan virtual cable , if you want to add a new controller you forget to plug for example , you plug your midi device , it's appear in copperlan and you can route it directly without restart Usine

Settings window :

2: local network of some computers : your midi controllers can be use with all of them without plug/un-plug them each time :
here an example with my bcr 2000 , route to 2 of my computers ( here named musik1 and yan-fixe)

Connections :

also useful with touchscreen as midi remote ..
and many more to discover..( SDK for devellopers , high resolution for Musicality..)
