Here's my problem, I had a MacBook, with FireWire 400, running Windows XP and Usine without any problem.
I change the computer, for a MacBook Pro, Core i7. I install Win Lsd SP3, run Uisne with ASio4All and everything fine. Then I install the sound card (my old MOTU 828mkII) and it doesn't work. I have FireWire 400 to 800 adaptateur, think the problem is there, but the MOTU tech said It would work.
So I tried to find information on forums. Somebody said that SP3 "kills" the FireWire 800. It looks like there is a configuration problem with the SP3 and the FireWire 800.
Does anybody understand my problem? Do you meet this problem? Do you have a solution?

I think I'm f...d up, and the solution for me is to use Windows7 (argh money money) or maybe finding an old version of win lsd SP2 (without be sure it works).
