One example, if you have a listbox connected to the preset manager "current" pin, and create a new preset you have to delete and re-drag the listbox to get the updated list items. To update the list automatically would waste processing power, but a trigger pin to do this would be very useful. For target pins other than type combobox, the option would do nothing.
