Hello, I just renewed my Gold license. It is nice to look at the posts that have appeared since I was last on the forum. I am excited to open the most recent Usine Pro and try the upgrades. If you want to listen to some music or look at some YouTube vids, visit 3pupsmusic.com. Best wishes, Newbie Brad

Please see if using Usine VST inside ReValver 3's VST Host module can be improved for the GUI. That's a signal path I'd like to try, though I also like the other way. NB

I would like to see if I can nest Usine inside of R3 instead of what I've done previously, which is to nest R3 inside Usine. At the present Usine VST seems it can be loaded, but its GUI can't be displayed. I have notified Michael at (Alien Connections) Peavey. NB PS R3 has a module called VST Host t...

Please, where do I find the log file?

Also there is a problem between ASIO4All and my systems microphone/linein channels, so I can't pass audio through Usine right now. But I don't think that's Usine's fault, and I've contacted support at ASIO4All.

I have to reenter setup info like ASIO driver choice and VST folder choice and VST scan each time I have a Usine session on my new computer (HP dv9543cl, Intel Duo 2.0 ghz, Vista Home Premium). Usine Pro 3.33. Any suggestions how to correct this?

I live in Nashville. I have been experimenting with Usine Free and I begin to "get" the idea how to use Usine, so I got a Pro yesterday license. I am practicing on my old desktop. I look forward to trying the audio to MIDI convertors in Usine. I have been experimenting with WIDI a lot lately and it can do simple chords diads and arps in real time with my guitar, but not with multiple instruments. Another interesting option with guitars and audio to MIDI convertors is to use t...

I'm not smart enough to know. I just like if there is a computer capability then exploit it with the software if it will increase ability to do work. I see Reaper is 64 bit engine and admire; it seems most efficient.

I think a VST should have full features of Usine or be a VST bridge to full featured Usine. And I think ReWire is important, Reason is a pain in the ass without ReWire. ReWire 2 with the audio + midi.

The LivePack inspired me to more effort working with Usine. I have tried to "get" the Usine idea for a long time without much success. But recently I tried again and it makes more sense now, it starts to be easy. Go Usine! The Live pack is good, the individual LivePack loopers and recorders need mor...
