Hello,
The version 5.70 will be available very shortly now.
I feel that you're all impatient so we have created a teaser of a vst created with Easine. We can call it a Teasine?

Try it on the download page
http://www.sensomusic.com/download/FREE ... T%2006.dll

also a Standalone version is available in the download section

http://www.sensomusic.com/download/

how can you always find the perfect improvement before it's needed ?
Once you've tried what wasn't in previous versions you need & use it !!
congrats

Great news !

I was waiting for a long time for a "save as vst" function. But now, I have to wait for a mac version :( !
This new feature is an open door for a lot of new users I think. A growing community !

You will love patching with usine...Much more intuitive and visually pleasant. ( I hate max since the day I started to read the manual ! ).:P

héhé.
I'm very sure I'll love it, because I already love it!

btw, I'm very sure I won't hate max5.

But I guess you won't ban me for that :/

(right now, using easine. patching. focusing currently on UI design.)

Of course not.

I only want usine as a reference , and max/msp as an old "souvenir", a primitive piece in the digital museum. :D , simply because I 'don't know how to use max/msp :/ , only the basis ( I'd try to learn after learning usine, so you see what I mean... NO WAY ! ) .

So welcome to the community , even if i am myself not very active on the forum ( yes, I'm still waiting for a mac version...but I always keep an eye here). This is a good place where questions have always answers. There is also scripts guru here ( follow my eyes ), they are very helpful and impressive ! They love headaches and puzzles ! Much more than me !

total shot in the dark but has anyone tried the VFX software for the V-Machine to load windows VSTs on Mac? Could it possibly work for a Usine VST?

Quote from the V-Machine developer on KVR

"actually it is quite easy. As we always stated: You do not need the V-Machine hardware to use our VFX software. It is a stand alone app where you can install and load and play and edit Windows VST plugins"

Download is here: http://www.smproaudio.com/index.php/en/ ... edownloads Not sure the licencing requirements, if any?

Hi
don't you afraid with this fabulous export vst functiun that members will only upload addons in vst only ?
In this case the principla of usine won't be as open than yet because which is interesting is modify addons...

It would be good if the VST could always export a file that could be loaded back into Usine. This would keep it free to use how you wanted regardless of the source of the VST.

@ joff78, Gurulogic:
I guess those who are used to share their work will continue
and it is quite possible to share the source with its VST ..:)

hi senso!
tried the exported vst teasine...
seems quite heavy on cpu ( 90 % cpu peaks )
and the interface seems quite sluggish.
at least on reaper 4.0 rc4 on my windows7 machine ( pretty old but use to run perfectly usine as a standalone )

fast & not sluggish in Live 8.2.2 on my win7 64 bits (core i7)

cannot wait for testing the export here!!
(I'd like to know about the "first installation" process. Will it be necessary on each patch ? just to know. NI stuff installs A BUNCH of stuff and it is VERY ok!)

Save As VSTi is THE thing for me. Tested the VST in REAPER. The CPU load is high when you have the panel open. Drops when you close the GUI.

maybe is optimized for multicore system ( mine is single 32bit )
tried on Ableton Live 8.2.2 same problems...even worse.

if you open a easine menu you cant close it using the normal "x" on the top-right of the window.
you have to click again in the easine menu where the window has its "open" command".

definitely unusable here.

Have you try the Demo Exported VST 08 (just a beta).dll lalo, cause don't see this bug anymore now and works fine here with Live 8.2 / old dual core 1,8

Ialo,
multicore support in Live (even Live 8) doesn't work well.
did you try to disable it ?
It can produce very different results.
