This new version contains many improvements which simplify most of basics aspect of live music creation. It’s a major update and we have tried to make Usine easier, faster, more ergonomic and more powerful.

I would like to thank all the persons who worked on this software, and all the beta testers for their great job.

-New contextual help system.
-New set of “ready to play” patches library: Auto Pan, Bass Liner, Bit Crusher, Break Beat Maker, Compressor, Expander, Filter Bank, Synchronized Filter, Forward & Reverse, Freezor, Kaos Player, Limiter, Master meter, Metronome, Phaser, Random Delay, Resonnator, Step filter, Stereo enhancer, Midi Clock synchro.

-New Video player module.
-Rack mode of the grid to chain effects.
-New VST Synchronization mode: can now follow the total bar position.
-The sampler can open and play MP3 files.
-New Audio effect modules : WaveShaper, BitCrusher, Phaser,
-The audio engine is around 20% faster.
-Now you can change the sampler reading position by clicking directly in the Wave Display module.
-Circular buffer recording mode in the sampler module,
-Copy/Paste MIDI notes in the piano roll module,
-New improved Grain Sampler template.Total Auto Synchronization, always fit to the current cycle position. Automatic calculation of the best number of bars and beats. Just Drag your file in the grid and play!
-Speed-up your patching process of VST’s: drag directly VST’s on the grid, Usine will create the patch automatically.
-New Stepdata, StepMidi, StepSwich design. You can shift left or right steps by moving the mouse with the [shift] key pressed.
-New Switches Collection interface design module.
-New Midi note Fader.
-New Color Selector module.
-New MIDI Transformer module scales : chromatic, major, minor, whole tone , diminished, augmented, minor harmonic, minor melodic, major harmonic, limited VII,
-And many more.

OK Good News and Good begins new year, BRAVO Olivier and Alls peoples works on this major release, I m so Happy ...
And now Good MUSIC with USINE and long life to USINE and USINERS.

Of course it is! I'm actually starting up a Muse cover band, and guess who will play bass (amp simulation VST, of course), trigger all the synths and probably add effects to vocals? And guess which software will I use to accomplish it with the greatest of ease (and, no, it's not A*****n L**e)?

press 'home' or midi learn in the global remote/sequencer restart or some thing like that...

Thanks you Senso. Did you plane to add the possibility to set a number of bar to loop for this parmaeter ( total bar position )? It could be useful.

What do you means by "circular buffer recording mode in the sampler module"? I don't really understand. Could you explain it in french? Thanks you in advance

You record in a buffer with a fixed length. When you reach the end of the buffer you restart recording from the beginning of the buffer, rewriting previous recorded sound.
