hello, I'm a "premium member", since Usine was donation-ware, it seems I can't download the last version because I'm not a "Gold Member". Does it mean I have to pay again, or have to pay the difference between what I donated and the price of Usine now ?

hello, grego
I'm sorry to tell you that, to be a gold member you have to pay for a "regular licence" (not a donation)
For the 2.64 buyers the upgrade (to the 2.8 version) is free.
The premium member status gives now, only an access to the add-ons library.
I'm sure you'll understand that this new procedure will cost a little for you but will help me to improve the soft.

hi Olivier,

I have the same problem.
I'm not an "Gold Member" yet, but I was one of the first to donate.

so before shelving out the 50€, what quasi-current version am I allowed to use and where can I download it?

thanks in advance,
Ark

hello, Arkadius
The last Premium Members version is the 2.64, unavailable for download anymore.
To simplify the registration procedure (don't forget that I'm alone to do all that stuff...) I've decided to create a new "normal licence".

The "Normal Licence" gives an access to all new updates, for 1 year. After that I'll ask buyers to pay little more (something like half the price) for another year of free update, and so on.

In other word, except for the donations, when you pay something to sensomusic (I mean myself...) you are quiet for a year...

I'm sure you'll understand
thanks by advance

I have a simple question as I intend to purchase a Gold license soon.
I looked in my 2.64 folder for a license and can't find one so I'll ask here: am I authorized to use Usine on more than one PC with a Gold membership? I'd like to chain two laptops together for playing live shows as I use a ludicrous amount of VSTs and automation.

Hello,
With a Gold member license, you can install Usine on any computer you want. Of course you have to respect basics of business ethics if you want to install the soft for
- all your family
- all you friends
- all your students
...

Personally, I have 3 computers at home:
- a laptop for live
- a fixed one, at home for mixing
- a "trash" PC to test new softs, and plugs before bring them on stage. It can be used also as a rescue PC, in case of problems with other computers

Nice setup, Oliver.

Ok, that's what I thought but I was just checking that it's not more restrictive. I want Usine to succeed! I sing its praises far and wide.
:)
