I had some interest from the Reaper forums in how to use Usine as a VST rack with full plugin recall so here is a basic example for Usine free or full VST.
This example uses the demo of U-he Uhbik which can be downloaded at http://www.uhbik.com/index.php?item=downloads (pre-installed download available!)

Simply load the Reaper project and open the fx from any of the four tracks in Reaper to view Usine. Press play, listen to my "wonderfull prefab house loops" and select preset numbers from 0-4 on any of the 4 Usine tracks, you will hear the VST settings being recalled quite seamlessly. If you like you can also select the preset number for all 4 tracks simultaniously with the "change all presets" combobox.
If you set your midi controller as the input midi device on track 1 in Reaper you can midi learn any of the control panel items in Usine, so selecting presets remotely is quite easy.

I have also included another example for how to load patches from disk in realtime that contain entirely different VST's and presets. If you copy the UsinePatch folder to C:, when you select from the blue LOAD Patch combobox you will be abe to load the VST chain and associated presets from any of the other three Usine tracks.

This is only one way of many to go about doing this but hopefully it can be an usefull example for somebody. btw, this example should work the same in any host with 4 instances of Usine and the same audio files loaded on each track, or even in Usine Standalone.

Uploaded here because this is not a normal addon:
