Based on a MSr Bsork script , this is a setup that allow to navigate XY and zoom in the matrix, with no data loss.:D

here it's a 32x32 max for "virtual memory" example. to change max have to edit the script constants and faders MAX_col & Max_row according.
..(maybe there is a way to set the script bidimentional array sizes via a variable input and not constant? i failed for now :/ .if any tips...)
also I tried but failed doing in one script only, so it uses 2 scripts, one for virtual nagivation, one that sets the values acc to position.

it's working not bad,.. to be enhanced maybe by some masterZ
as Martignasse, Bsork or senso could make a better single script one, or help me to do one
cause think it could be a nice "classic" feature for matrix if well done...

addons/others.

that shows the idea. mmm sequencers!

mmm imagine that with colors&captions :P

great , we approach some monome like ideas...
just one thing : when i first open your patch ,( audio engine off ) ,i can see the "Usine "but when i turn on the audio engine = reset
so i put a preset manager but there 's always a reset at first on ( then using the preset manager i can find them again)
?

mm yup, i don't really visualyse how data are handled via script, maye first compile erase the data, have to check that...
wonder if need to put an array somewhere to store datas, or maybe a workaround is to recall the preset on init..mmm
note we can't zoom on a monome ;)

ok i managed to make it cleaner, now one single script, lower Cpu, and now the max virtual size is directly set
by faders, no need to enter the script.

deleted/ reuploaded .

ok sorry once more deleted/reuploaded, there was something wrong when changing Max sizes :/ , now fixed.
now works like a charm in all modes and all sizes. :)

also added useful outputs: MasterMatrix array, small(window)array, indexes, clicCol, ClicRows & Value for Booth big & small arrays.
