what i can suggest you is to to try the example from senso in the wiki page and there's also the addon named UTS-1 Webcam Sequencer from artificial which can give an idea of the way to use it
But there's many way to use it, with lights, movements and this informations can be used to interact with what you want, your imagination is the first motor
