Vst configuration files

Is there any documentation on how the Vst configuration files are used?

What kind of info's are you looking for ?
these files can be read with a basic text editor if needed
they are created when you scan your plugins folder, then Usine know which ones are ok, some can be corrupted or create errors and so...

I was just wondering if the content of the files had any function. One of the Vsts I am using complains of a parameter problem (but still works).
