first, sorry for my very bad english...
I have a xiosynth, from novation.I use it as an audio interface ( asio driver) and as a midi controller . It 's too a synth ( kstation engine) and I 'm trying to synchronize it with usine without success. It's works perfectly with ableton live, without changing something on the xio
I have a strange error message with usine, ?error bad midiout device, with just the midi in active, and with midi in and out active.
the same happends in hybrid mode ( synth for keyboard and midi controller for the knobs, it's really great to use the synth and to have the knobs for midi CC, and you can record directly with usb the synth and in the same time the xlr or jack input on another input ...an audio card , a midi controller and a synth in the same time)
Of course, it could be a mistake from me,and it's not a big problem but if someone can help me...
here is some screenshots
thanks for reading,

hello,
generally the ?error bad midiout device" appears when you try to send a midi message to an external midi device which is closed (not activated in the setup) or doesn't exist.
Check in your patches to find, somewhere a midi out module where the selected device is set to "-no device-" or to a closed driver.
hope It will help.

you are right !
just another little question, not sure to understand what could be connected to "device" in the midi out module ( I supose it's must be something connected for synchronizing) sorry , I just begin with usine...
btw, I'm very happy to hear you tonight olivier

Don't be sorry to begin with Usine! You should be proud of it!
"Device" input allows you to connect there a list box in which you can choose the Midi Port where to send the Midi data.
If by example you use Midi Yoke, you'll have listed there all your Midi Yoke ports. You'll see there your Midi keyboard or your Midi controllers too. That allows you to play Reason or any standalone Synth. Just configure Reason (or other) to receive Midi on the same port.
I'm not sure I'm clear...
Note : When you're not sure what to connect to a pin, try this: CTRL+CLIC+DRAG+DROP. That creates the default corresponding Interface Design Module. In that case, it would have been a list box with all your midi ports listed. If you do that with the "program" inlet of any VST, that makes a list-box with all the programs (patches or presets) of your VST.
