Hi, I'm from Argentina (I live in the Patagonian mountains) and new to usine and this forum. Im excited about usine and what I can do with it.
I use Renoise , and I like the tracker interface to sequence the music, but I also like a more "live/jam" approach.
The other day I was playing with a simple pd patch that can do a few simple things: loop 2 samples, change the samples, reverce, pitch shift, robotic feedback and little more. But all of this in real time, very fast, really fun.
I know Ableton live but I dont think Live its the solution, Live is not SOO real time and inmediate, and I prefer to program in Renoise. So I was searching for something that I can really play with. Making loops/samples in Renoise, play with usine.
Plus, I like pure data and Max, but with them I pass much less time making music. Usine seems to have that technical approach, very flaxible but less complicated.
So, in these days I will going to make my first steps in Usine.
Congrats to the devs and community.

Thanks for the welcoming. Que bueno, mas gente de America latina!
Today I spent a good time learning Usine (more than 13 minutes hehe).
A lot of cool things. This is what I was searching for, I think.
I dont know how I didn't find it before!!!

I'm in the same boat as you Capitan. Anxious to see what I can do with this.
Noob here as well - enjoying making ambienty drones that go out of time with themselvesTFF wrote:I'm in the same boat as you Capitan. Anxious to see what I can do with this.
(and wondering how to feed things back into themselves without breaking my speakers...)
