I have to reenter setup info like ASIO driver choice and VST folder choice and VST scan each time I have a Usine session on my new computer (HP dv9543cl, Intel Duo 2.0 ghz, Vista Home Premium). Usine Pro 3.33. Any suggestions how to correct this?

Absolutely not normal!!!!

It means that the setup is
- not saved at Usine shutdown
- or not loaded at startup

Comes from a vista compatibility?

Can you
1) run Usine,
2) enter a valid setup,
3) quit Usine

send me the "Default-settings.ini" file and "LogUsine.log" file by mail at contact@sensomusic.com?

thanks

Please, where do I find the log file?

Also there is a problem between ASIO4All and my systems microphone/linein channels, so I can't pass audio through Usine right now. But I don't think that's Usine's fault, and I've contacted support at ASIO4All.

I was using 3.30 until last night, and I experienced the same problem.

The reason I'm posting this, and I thought nothing of it last night, is that I'm running a 3.0 Intel Core Duo on WinXP. So it's most likely not a Vista problem.

When I get home I'll toss the Default-settings.ini & LogUsine.log on my zip drive and mail em tomorrow.

There must be a problem. I have no LogUsine.log file in the main dir of Usine.

check if your Usine folder isn't 'write protected'?
