Long file in the Grid mode

Unread post by noise2sine » 07 Nov 2022, 19:07

Hello,

I need to create a project with just a long audio file around 60 minutes on one track and a second track consisting of just an automation curve sending control change . The idea is to be able for example to set at 2m30 a 63 CC value and so on .
Is it possible in the grid mode to have a detailed time vision like the one in Ableton live ? I have set the time to 60 minutes in the grid mode but i can't manage to see all the individual minutes ?

Do i just have to drag the audio file directly in the grid mode ?

What would be the best way for the midi track sending the CC values ?

Thanks !!!!

you should create a new section for each event. Put your 60min sound on the first line and then, create different section managing your CC values.
like that :

in this exemple, it's just a simple fader in the rack n1. You can use anything in the grid with ctrl+shift.
have a look : http://brainmodular.com/manuals/hh5/en/learn-usine/grid

it's a simple fader with midi learn. In the midi section, chose your control type (CC) and the CC number. that's it

maybe you could split your file into smaller files. It will help for editing.
