Hi,
I want to use the XYZ-pad with physics enabled, to move sources randomly in a 3D-room.
In the XYZ-pad I can only select 2D-views.
No I encounter the problem, that only the parameters shown in the view are moved by the physics:
- top view: x+y
- side l+r: y+z
- front+rear: x+z
Is this is a bug or is it ment to be for a reason?
Is it possible to get all three parameters moved by physics?
Thanks a lot,
Christian
Physics in XYZ-pad
Hi,
the physic engine is 2D only, if you want 3d physics, an alternative is to use the engine of an extra XY pad (with one ball) to get the 3rd axis moving.
Or, use LFO's on X,Y,Z, it's cheap CPU wise and make up for smooth trajectory (lissajoux curves)
cheers

OK, thanks.
I had the LFO solution on my mind, but didn't know physics is 2D only.
Thanks a lot!
