Video In From Tablet

Unread post by halbius » 25 May 2024, 12:34

Hi,

on my tablet I use Krita for painting. The canvas i can put on a second screen (via USB-C to HDMI (or wahatever) adapter), without the toolbox, menu etc. being displayed. Just the canvas.
Now this canvas-only I want to have in Usine as video input, like it works with mobile devices camera via ip stream.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
I tried lots of things, but didn't found a solution.

Thanks a lot!

Hi,
Maybe you can use NDI

https://ndi.video/tools/ndi-screen-capture/

There are NDI modules in Usine so you'll manage to get the stream from your tablet.

Thanks for that tip!

Unfortunately I only can access the camera or mirror the desktop, but I can not extend the desktop and output the canvas to a second screen.
Seems to be an android problem...

I didn't get it if you managed to put the drawing without tool box on a second screen, if so you may use a hdmi cable to go to an hdmi input to pc dongle. You should then get the video stream into Usine.
