Hi joffo you succeed to make your touchscreen with a video projector
if i well understood , well done and quickly ! good work !

cool

Yeah thank you for your help 23fx23.
Finally i found a very basic and simple solution. i bought a little flashlight in a diy shop and i replaced the lamp with an ir led that i find on an old remote control.

Another question too
Do you think it's possible to send audio data to wiimote hp ?
i did a patch to make a remote control for light and when a change the number of projector a sampler said me the number of it.
It would be cool if i could receive it directly on my wiimote !

actually it's not possible.
I hope soon.

edit: crosspost with senso

it was possible with glovepie, but only trig some frequencies, not transmit a wav data if i well remember,
or it seems it was a not so easy task resulting in heavy distorsion.
there are some ressources about this on this site, not sure it will really help by the way...
http://wiki.wiimoteproject.com/Wii_Remo ... ata_Format

but what i did was using the leds and vibration it can be quite easy to invent some code ,
ie one vibration is 10, 2leds on total is 12, or 4ledons and 2 flashing is 6, stuff like that.
depends of nb of lights you need to control. don't remember if usine can controls the leds and vibration by the way...

good idea i'll think about this way but i need to control 120 circuits.
PS i don't care about distortion it's only to listen what is the number selected.

what do you think about that : http://www.pearl.fr/gadgets/produits-fu ... C8077.html
do you think the leds could be replaced by ir to make a perfect multitouch fingers screen ?
the must would be if we could find a system to turn on the led only for example when i dress one finger.

hello I've sew the rings they seem to be in moulded plastic
if it's possible to replace the led cutting the plastic tip
for your turn the ir when dressing a finger, you must reverse
the contact may be more difficult ! to see that it's only 3 euros :D

oh, a mine wasn't submited , indeed cool idea, i think ill grab some too, nice find!

Not wiimote, but I think this could be the next easy multitouch tool !!

Accelerometers + gyroscopes wireless + midi converting thru Usine :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyPpKM8e5Sg

(sorry for the bad video, it's just to show where I am)

Avec une somme de petits pas, on fait un long trajet...

Next steps for my Augmented Bass Clarinet project,
- embedded on my bass clarinet (need a smallest box)
- with complementary sensors (waiting for parts from clarinet factory to put them)

by waolelaid
Hi gdlive , if i well understood after reducing the box and adding sensors on the clarinet
you'll be able to act on usine by moving the clarinet or some keys of it
really fine

Nice project gdlive!

well done GDlive, what about those electronics card , you buy them or ..?

woa cool gdlive

it seems to react better than wiimote's accelerometers, oh because ya use gyroscopes mmmmm
yes would be as well interested in how you did with the hw.

i dlike to test with PS3 pads, they have 6axis gyroscopes too, had someone test if this can be hacked to usine?
we can find them at 39$

well done GD live ! did you make it alone ?

ouff, lot of questions here ! :) I will soon write a project description, then I won't go to much in details here.

waolelaid :
you'll be able to act on usine by moving the clarinet or some keys of it
you're right, it's my goal. More precisely, I want to do this while playing, then I haven't so much possibilities to push buttons

ethnix73 :
thanks

nay-seven, 23fx23, joffo78 :

I made this from scratch. A big month of work to find the technical solution, to get the less expensive component, to try, to solder, to program, to find informations from the net.

I was first looking on adapting a midibox :
[q]http://www.ucapps.de/[/q]
[q]http://www.midibox.org/[/q]

But, this approach needs to do everyting, solding every components and looked expensive..

Then I have looked at the arduino project :
[q]http://www.arduino.cc/[/q]

That is what I chose.
Based on this card, you could add whatever sensor you want :
[q]http://www.sparkfun.com/categories/23[/q]

That is the schema.

For the sensors (23fx23), wii gyroscopes are much accurate than accelerometers => I use the wii motion plus and the wii nunchuk (which has the same accelerometers than wiimote).

It wasn't so simple to disassemble wii parts and to speak with with the arduino controler. You can have a look here, many people have been working on it :
[q]http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1248889032/0[/q]

I get some white hair to get nice values....
I still have some issues with my midi compatibility..

I saw yesterday the Karlak topic, I see that we got with the same approach similar technical architecture

For the cost : today, the total amount is about 150-200 € (+ work time) : parts, sensors, solder kit, wires
My be an IPhone with some development could be more simple, but I never had a GSM
