I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I am writing about it here to see if any users have a solution.
It could also be a small bug with hollyhock. When I open J bridge file The window is blank until I reload the window a second time.
J bridge files open perfectly in Ableton so it seems the problem has to do with hollyhock.

I have also been noticing this. Sometimes even reloading the window a second time does not help.

I asked Joao at jbridge he told me to ask Senso about this. Should I post this in the bugs section?

did you try tweaking the various parameters of jbridge ?

i remember, some plug don't work well "as is' but with parameters adjustment, it's ok

if it don't do the trick, feel free to open a bug ticket, with precise info about your setup and the concerned plugs

hope it help

I tried the Jbridge demo yesterday, and in my case it seems not to work at all. None of the plugins prepared by Jbridge is being recognized. That is too sad to realize that Usine does not support 50% of my plugins natively as they are only 32 bit. :-|

Now, for almost one week I tried to find a simple workaround... but it seems to be not so simple.

P.S.: Here you can see how I solved it for now: http://www.sensomusic.com/forums/viewto ... ?pid=30150

And it's really crippling for you to use the Usine 32 bits version ?

oh, I am just lazy and only have a limited spare time for making musical experiments. I was used to use both - 64 and 32 bit versions - in the same DAW. Reaper and Renoise both can do it. Whenever I saw the option to download a 64 bit version I did it before I started with Usine - and I never downloaded or installed a 32 bit version when I had the 64 bit option ;-D but, maybe it is time to reorganize my VST folder.

seamus, if it is a solution for you to open the plugin, close it and open it again, then I just found out how you can automate this procedure with one button, one immediate and two delayed triggers :)

Image

In this case I do not have a JBridge plugin, but the freely available Charlatan VST.

Use two different values for the "duration" time. Maybe you must experiment a little bit to find more suitable delay times than my 652.6 ms. The first trigger displays the plugin, the second one hides it, the third one displays it again. It works the other way round if you hide the plugin.

Oh, I forgot to mention, it only seems to count the milliseconds if the play button is pressed.

I hope it's still useful.

And I begin to like "on activation"...

After pressing play it first displays and then hides the VSTi. The next time it will be displayed for the second time.

The next times you hide and display it manually triggered by pressing the button as usual. Until you click the stop button.

Lots of stuff on the jbridge FAQ on blank screens:

#s 9-13 all sound like things to consider.

Hope this helps,
