midi control of plugins

Hello,
I have a working midi in connection, as displayed by the input midi meters in Usine.
However there's no chance for the plugins ( tried with many) to receive the incoming midi signal, their midi learn function doesn't get anything.
Any advice?

have put a midi device on top of your rack ?
