I’m trying to port my workspace from V2 to V4

Plugins work so far except one, sadly the one that is central to my live set : GRM Evolution
Usine crashes as soon as I insert the AU version.
Regarding the VST one, in despite of a scan, the GRM VST plugins aren’t found by Usine / the search at all. either if they sit in their folder or in the root folder.

I tried trick Usine by putting the VST in a recognized folder ; now I can see the VST, I can add it to a patch, but the GUI is completely black when I open it.

Yes, we are in contact with GRM team, but process is slow, and we can't do anything on our side for the moment sadly

I have 5 more plugins not displaying their GUI : they are all from Airwindows.

they don't really have a GUI except some sliders so it's not a big deal but you might wanna know.
and in case you don't know airwindows, consider it's christmas - ten times - again

I also have another plugin pb somewhere but not sure which one, tell you later

About Air windows, i've install demo, only 2 of Au are visible ( 32 bits ?) , VST open but only Juce window, have you contact them ?

the goal of airwindows is to ensure maximum comptability, to fuck obsolescence's ass and maximize retrocompatiblity. this will break his heart !
not a big deal not to have the interface, but I'll tell him anyway.


One more trouble : IRCAM verb session by flux : only one channel works for the ouput in the VST. AU is fine (so ok for me but if you should know...)

adding to the previous post, again more problems (actually I have some troubles ith most of the plugins in mylivesetI realize) :

when loading Soundtoys Crystallizer, Usine gives me a message : "unkown paramters found in preset" (although I don't use any preset)
another plugins does that I don't know which one yet.

This might be the origin of anther problem : Usine has difficulty loading my workspace. 5-10 minutes needed. while a lighter version took a few seconds in HH2..

Loading the AU version of crystallizer instead of the VST solve the above problem and seems to make the download quicker.. but I can't display any parameters in Usine.. and the point of my set is to mainpulate them all in real time so useless..


I spent all my free time of the last 3 weeks to port my set to HH4, and unfortuantely, so far I just can't use that version to play

I have the same problem with all SoundToys plugins. It seems not to be an Hollyhock problem.
I send an email to Soundtoys this morning.
Try to send one too.

i test this plugin and yes, sadly no parameters visible for the AU version
VST version is a 32 bits one , so Jbridge solve the issue, the parameters are visible,
but yes i've also the message '"unkown paramters found in preset"

I had this problem too. With the GRM V3.8 and HH4 on PC, the GRM tools work fine.

on my side,
GRM 3.8 : not working on my mac.. (10.11)
Jbridge : not working on catalina to which I'll swtich (not by choice but by change of computer)..

yes soundtoys have been contacted

About Jbridge, not sure the dev can fine a solution cause Catalina don't accept 32bits apps anymore

There is always a problem with soundtoys. I send them a new mail 2 weeks ago, but i have no answer.
Probaly not a good time for that.
