Hi,

Already asked, but perhaps this time...

Could we be able to use the delete key (or backspace for later mac users) to delete objects ?

Sure, Ctrl X works, but why not authorize us to use a single key (made for this) instead of two, and there is some circumstances when replacing the clipboard when deleting an object is an annoyance.

Thanks !

hello,

actually, 'shift-delete' do the job, without polluting the clipboard.

i believe the fact you need two keys combo is a security for live situation.

Thanks for the tip.
I understand the security lock too (an option to remove it will also be nice).

I'd also want to vote for a one-key-delete option.

It seems there is some deep reason delphi won't let you use the delete key..... I'm guessing that's why we still have the flaky behaviour of treenodes in the browser as well.

It's not Delphi o C++ but more an Usine Philosophy : keep the simple keys free as much as possible for live situation.

in other words : single keys for live, multi-keys for edition.
