hi guys,

1. a "show samples list" inlet to turn visible the sampler list in the mixer view (now you can only see it in the patch view)

2. finer pitch resolution (cents?)

3. monitor on/off switch for input signal

4. be able to stop the loop after recording

5. be able to play the loop after stopped

6. be able to chose loop or one shot mode for recorded and not yet saved material

7. ffw/rev loop mode

Thanx for all your suggestions.

1) You can do that by create a "listbox" module, and enter the sample names by hand and affect the output of the listbox to the "num" input of the sampler. I think It's not so hard? (I do it often)

2) you can have any pitch resolution you want: Create a pitch control (wire + CTRL key) and then, in the creatd PITCH fader control, set the precision to x.xxx for example. Now move the fader of the new control to any value you want with a precision of 0.1 cent.

3) good idea! I don't know how to proceed but i'll find...

4-5) You can do a lot of complex things with patch: In the addons library you can find, for example, to emulations of the ECOPLEXX machine witch does things like that.

6) I'm shure you can do that with a patch, using the "save random" button that add the saved sound to the disk and add it to the list. Just add, a listbox like in the point 1). Something like that. Maybe i should create a "clear list" button inlet?

7) the reverse swith already exists. What do you mean by the ffw/rev?

yes..it's not hard...but i mean to do it live..
i don't know before how many samples i'll record...
so to show the list wich is dinamically updated on mix view would be good

a loop mode that let the sample goes normal then reverse or reverse and normal alternating at every loop cycle

thanx

the problem is to update dynamically the listbox list. In Usine there is no way to handle list of text fields.
(an outlet that contains text list). Usine is ready to process strings but not strings list...
It's a good subject for a brainstrom but I need time to find a global solution, very similar to the wave form display.

If you know that you'll never record more that 50 samples, create a listbox "sample 1", "sample 2",...."sample 50" and affect the num parameter.

a loop mode that let the sample goes normal then reverse or reverse and normal alternating at every loop cycle
A sort of ping pong reverse?
It's easy to make with a patch.
It's the main purpose of usine: have basic modules and create personal routings.

..do you think is difficult to add an inlet to sampler exaclty li the "show list" wich is available in the sampler itself in patch mode?

thanx

You will see, that you can create very complex patchs easily.
It's important to not add too much specific module comportments witch need complex calculation for only few utilisations?

Anyway, all your suggestions are interesting and some patch's are impossible to create.
For example the Overdub mode, is impossible to emulate with a patch. So I need to add this functionality directly in Usine.
