Grid - Name elements

Post by cmodica » 12 Jul 2021, 12:28

Hi all.

I would like to have the possibility to name each element of the grid.
Sometimes in complex grids it's hard to find your way around to make changes.

Exemple in the picture below
grid-name-elements.jpg
It is not necessary that this name is displayed on the grid, because it would make the display more cumbersome.
But it could be, for example, in the info related to the element.

Maybe in version 5.

Thank you

Hello guys,

It is probably a good suggestion, but remember you have a special line at the bottom of the grid called info. You can add text here to explain a section.

All the best

Hello.
Yes it is right and i use it. But it will be a better workflow to name the elements and use the info line for more details.
Imagine i put 5 switches in the same section of the grid. It will be faster to read the name of each other than go to the info line and write : the red one is the reverb, the blue one the sampler, etc.

Have a nice day.

Are you aware that the "comment" module can be dropped directly on the grid?

I test it and it works. It needs to add some elements in my already full grid, but it works. 8)
