vertical scrollbar in text areas

I feel like I mentioned this before, but I didn't find it.

My backup patch generates its own mini-trace, in a popup window, so I can see which files are backed up.

Unfortunately the text area module does not have an option for a scrollbar, so the only way to view all the text is from the inspector for the text area.

It's also bad UI design that what looks like a scrollbar in the inspector doesn't actually scroll, it opens the area for editing instead. Or if there is a way to use it as a scrollbar, I haven't figured it out.
