Hello,
Sometimes, I just look for the "width position" of an audio sampler. It takes ages to unfold the sampler, unzoom, scroll, look for the inlet, wire the cable, zoom, unscroll.
It would be very nice to have a little "search field" aside the patch name, so that you can type "width" and it directly focus and add the requested inlet/outlet to the current view of the sampler. Obviously, it would need to work on every module to be efficient and interesting. In a certain way, you can imagine that it would work as the "add object" window.
What do you think about that?
Thanks,
creal.
Type to search, highlight and add an inlet/outlet of a current module
Hi Creal,
This is a good suggestion that is currently under discussion at BrainModular. It is not so easy, not regarding the amount of modules available but due to the way the inlets are currently displayed and/or calculated. Usine becomes more and more powerful on the programming side, the BrainModular team works strongly to facilitate heavy patching and will provide many powerful tools for that : some are already there like the inspector window or Global Array modules, but new multithreading capabilities are also on the road, procedure and more.
So this kind of trick would certainly comes in in the future.
Regards
Sylvain
