hi
maybe I miss this feature but I don't find this

could it be possible than each workspace memorizes the size of the usine windows ? i use usine with some other software on the same screen, so it could be useful to have the possibilitie to keep the size of the main windows with each workspace.

another suggestion, ( again maybe i miss this feature) could it be possible to memorize the window of an "showed" vst with workspace , and with a conductor line with each snapshot ?

thanks for reading

your are right, the main window of Usine is by default in full screen.
I'll see, nomally it should be easy.

harder to implement because in MS-Windows moving or resizing windows can take a long time and use a lot of cpu. So it can be incompatible with a real time utilisation.

thanks a lot !
your second answer is interesting, I did'nt think this feature take a lot of cpu, so you're right, it's not a good feature for live use

Hi Olivier,
I do a little up to this thread, just in case your new version allows a "CPU-friendly" recall of VST windows positions... as I plan to use usine as a kind of Multi-effect, it would be nice for me not to have the VST windows piled up each time I recall them :)

Not yet implemented. I hope I'll have time to do that before the new release!
In the new version the window position is memorized. When you close Usine you retrieve all windows in the same states. But not already associated to the workspace
