Remote Record automation

Hi all.

Is there a way in H3, to record automation with a midi controler ? It works fine with the mouse or TrackPad, but it didn't works with an external midi knob.

( H3 is fantastic. Thank you for that. Every thing is more intuitive and the workflow is realy better.)

of course you can click on the knob or fader while you move the MIDI contrôler, but not really easy

here a method i use sometimes: use the piano roll with a midi filter to dispatch some binds ( or direct link of course)

Hi Nay.
You told me about this method a few years ago. But i imagined that an easy way was possible in new H3. It seems not.
Is it so hard to implement ?

some advantages:
play reverse
play some loop part
create variations/different records with up to 32 different midifiles
