Reset sends

Unread post by Gilsornette » 28 Oct 2023, 18:03

Hello,

I use a lot of "sends" from one rack to another, and I often apply a controller remote to them.
And sometimes I have suprises when loading a workspace with one of these sends that has been saved at full...
Is there a way to send a reset to these sends on the opening of the wkp?
Thank you in advance.

Hi !
Maybe you could reset whatever is producing the data going in the bus ?

Thank you for the advice but I'm not using busses, only "rack to rack" sends.I don't know if it's clear.

Oh, I see.
What I do:
When having multiple patches in a rack that I with to switch on an off, I make a top patch with all the controls then send them to the various patches
Home it hélas

Hello again,
I understand this and use it also when needed, but in this case I want the sends (in the rack output) to be reseted.
And it seems maybe not possible...

It is true that the ON/OFF states of the sends output in the rack are not stored in the Rack Preset.
The gain, mute, solo, pre state are stored in the Rack Preset but not the ON/OFF.

It should be a good suggestion for the future update!

Hello,

You can find a workaround with switches and binds.
Then, I answered in the other post.

Best
