Help for a simple patch: Convert an audio impusle into an midi trigger

Hi,

I'm new here so I have a newby question for you.

I need to use contacts mic to trig a sampler when I hit them (Probably 2 mics so to audio input)

I know that it possible to convert this audio impulse into a midi note to play and stop a sampler.

Could you help me to find the perfect object to do that?

You can use audio analysis peak detector or beat follower and generate a midi note on with midi generator note on use trigger input), and after filter this note etc...

you can also use "Analysis Audio to MIDI 2" module if you need to get midi notes by frequencies
