Hello,
I'm using a touch screen as a second screen for a live session; I have sometimes to use the mouse on the main screen but I recently had some
bad experiences (during rehearsals , luckily) when moving a fader with the touch function and then wanting to use the mouse on the other screen:
as I moved the mouse, the fader that has been selected followed its way and went to full level...
Is there a way to avoid that? Maybe to specify that some objects can react only to touch and not to the mouse? is that clear?
Thank you in advance
Touch screen
Hi,
Touch and mouse are almost the same. When you put your finger on the touch screen, the arrow of the mouse appears.
What can happenned is your fader was still selected on the touch side and you used the mouse wheel.
Anyway, several tricks to try. Disable mouse wheel on controls only used with touch. You can try to disable mouse too, but not sure touch will still working (don't have touch screen with me).
Then, you can adapt the touch screen precision factor (in the mouse tab of your module). It can help to, at least, not jump to the top.
Best
Sylvain

Thank tou for the answer Sylvain. I was not using the mouse wheel, but the movement of the mouse itself caused the fader to jump.
I'll try your advices and see...
