hi senso,
i'm trying to use the algorithm with midi. but i have a problem. after the message i send is sent it doesnt return to zero. if i connect the selector straight to the sounter it seems to go into a feedback loop and keeps on retriggering the itself. also if i just send the selector straight to the pos input of the sampler, i can only hit the same key once. it stays the selector stays at it's value so it wont trigger the sampler pos more than once. i've tried brainstorming a way to overcome this, but it seems that there's probably no work around.
hold on....
tried a trick with an array but that didnt work either,
if you can figure this out senso you're either a genius, or i need to start reading my trigonometry and calculus books!
using the input quantise algorithm with midi?
Int the MidiIn module, the most important information is the 'receive' parameter. It lights when a midi code is received.
Then, when you want to use any information on the MidiIn (like note number, etc.) you have to use the 'receive' to check if the message is just recieved or is arrived a long time ago.
Does It helps you?
