may I ask a question which could sound newbie?
ok. I guess I can.

Can we create from scratch UI elements ?

I mean, buttons, sliders, panels etc everything ?

i will let the SDK specialist answer for the code part, on the patch level you can use of course the edit layouts possibilities and also import design created with Knobman for example.
