Hi, just wanted to pop in and say thanks to Senso and the Usine team for all their hard work and for providing us with such a versatile, well more like genius software. As a long time Usine user making the move to Hollyhock, it has been challenging but the improvements since version 5 make the effort well worth it. 64 bit.. well I don't crash Hollyhock when patching... ever! The new layout maybe still not entirely my cup of tea, but HH/Usine is so open ended that it is usually possible with some effort to make it work how you want it to and then there is the multitude of various new features that make loading v5 feel a bit like using Windows 98.. Not that v5 was bad, but HH is just so much more! My eye's are dizzy from multiple days of patching but I'm very happy I have taken the plunge into and despite my earlier grumbling managed to get Hollyhock dialed for my needs!

(My recreated +++ workspace interface originally from v5, now with comprehensive routing and surround panning options! Entirely designed for processing and interfacing live use of external hardware sequencers, complex routings, MIDI processing and VST plugins with no computer interaction necessary while playing, but really the picture does no justice to what is really going on here. Maybe someday a video with audio :) )

I'm definitely warming up to the interface over time.. a few workflow niggles here and there but once you get your head around everything that is possible and used to the fact that it is different than v5.. Wow!!! Super digging the toolbox and binds right now! :)
Only problem is I keep finding ways to make my workspace better rather than taking time to get my music ready for a live set next weekend
I'm excited, will be my first ever live mixing in surround.. if I can get it together in time

the story of my life. :)

But no. Extremely sweet fricking interface. Looks deep. I like the touch with the switch border roundness.
