Hello
I have a problem with "little" containers in the interface builder window. I build my patch, make my sybpatches' buttons and faders appear in a container, then resize my containers (they are quite thin, containing 2 vertical faders and a button, all vertically).
Then, when I close my workspace and open it again, containers are much larger, so that they hide their neighbours.
Did I miss something ?

Yes, same problem. I've also tried to lock only containers or the main window, no way.

sounds like a relative to my bug.

My containers are too short, and they get -shorter- when reopened....

senso was working on a fix, don't know if it will work for you.

I have a question!
Since creating an interface builder window cost a lot of resources, are you obliged to create an interface builder with only one small control?

Yes--because I want to control its visibilty. That's the only reason!!

I hope you can find a better solution to nested layout than having complete system windows!! It not only takes resources, it makes layout very difficult.

My first thought is a menu of radio-buttons with a list of top-level containers and submenus for the containers inside them. When you select a container, you can move the controls inside that container independently. When you select the parent container, any child container moves as one single control. As far as windows is concerned, you just have one parent window, but your menu allows grouping controls and moving them as though they were in a child window.

I'm sure there are other ways. But the titlebars sure do make layout difficult, if you're trying to get down to the pixel level.

For me, it's to build a kind of virtual mixer. So, each track (containing faders, buttons and so on) has the same structure. It looked easier for me to build one in a subpatch, then to copy it as many times as I need. Any other suggestion, maybe ?

I have also small containers. When i resize them, i make a double click in the main interface builder. It glue them to the grid. I use a grid size of 16, and i doesn't have any problem when i reopen my patch...Strange. I'm not using the last beta, but Usine 4.01.
