The Plot Panel is the place where you put fixtures to describe your light environment. A plot can handle only 1 universe, so 512 channels.
Usine can handle several plots at the same time. Each plot is calculated independently and is associated to an ArtNet/sACN Universe or an USB device.
Displays all the DMX channels used in the plot.
Clears the content of the selected object to make it empty.
Opens a file of the selected object saved previously.
Saves the selected object as a file with a new name.
Undo the last operation.
Redo the last operation.
Adds a new fixtures-group to the current plot.
Clears all the plots of the current workspace.
Opens a set of plots previously saved.
Saves all the plots as a set.
Enables or disables disable the plot panel
When disabled the plot is not calculated
Displayed caption of the object. Click to enter a new name.
Global dimmer of the plot panel.
Resets all fixtures of the plot to their default value. Is equivalent to a PANIC.
ArtNet universe number. See ArtNet DMX specifications for more info.
In Usine the first universe is 0.
When ON Usine always sends ArtNet/sACN/DMX packets on the network according the setup-panel-tab-light DMX framerate, even if nothing has changed. Otherwise (when OFF) packets are sent only if a value has changed.
Displays the list of all DMX channels of the plot.
Locks the plot panel Rechercher des détails to avoid any unintentional modification.
Enables or disables ArtNet sending on the plot.
IP address of the connected ArtNet device to send to.
Set this to 127.0.0.1 for localhost.
All ArtNet packets are sent in broadcast mode (to all connected devices). Depending on the router this option can cause much slower speeds. This option is only necessary under certain conditions where a broadcast is required.
IP Mask used when broadcast is activated.
Can be used to restrict the broadcast range.
List of all ArtNet devices available on the network.
Click on the available device to set the IP address.
This option can be used if the plot is a target of a video-pixel-mapper module and you want to assign different IP's to universes in ArtNet. For example if the universe 0 is assigned to the IP 192.168.1.200
, the universe 1 to 192.168.1.201
, etc. you can enter:
0=192.168.1.200
1=192.168.1.201
2=192.168.1.202
3=192.168.1.203
...
For all other universes (which are not in the list) the default ArtNet IP address defined above is used to send the ArtNet packet.
Enables or disables sACN sending on the plot.
Determines the network communication mode for the sACS protocol, unicast, multicast, broadcast.
In multicast mode, the IP address is 239.255.x.x
where x.x is the hi and lo part of the universe number starting by 1 for the universe 0.
In broadcast mode, all sACN packets are sent in broadcast (to all connected devices). Depending on the router this option can cause a much slower speeds. This option is only necessary under certain conditions where a broadcast is required. See broadcast mask bellow.
IP address of the connected sACN device in unicast mode (when sACN mode=unicast).
Set this to 127.0.0.1 for localhost.
IP Mask used when sACN mode=broadcast. Can be used to restrict the broadcast range.
Determines the priority of sACN datas sent to the network.
Number of the USB device (as shown in the setup-panel-tab-light outputs), where DMX packets are sent for this plot.
Launches a test procedure of ArtNet and sACN networks if they are respectively activated (send ArtNet and send sACN). It sends a slow chaser on all channels of the current plot.
