http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 06&start=0 -- would this fall under the generative music software category?

nodal is a lot of fun but unfortunately does not host VSTi. Maybe a patch master can create a usine version?

thanks sunhome for the link , seems more an harmonic sequencer , cause it's based on chord recognition and scales, generative software use generally math formulas...but it's an interesting sequencer ( not released btw) and maybe could inspire a scales guru to built something like this in Usine..?

interesting link sunhome

@nay-seven: auto-scale are easy to build with different mapper value ( or only one if mapper value goes up 32 slots)...i've built one in my launchpad step sequencer patch.

yes, i suppose it's not really difficult if you know /have the good infos, maybe the the reel time chord recognition is more complex..?

could be a cool collaborative patch..

Concerning real-time chord recognition, it might be doable by storing the note values, analysing the intervals between them and adapt to the desired scale....

Perhaps the main difficulty to sovle would the latency generated
