Array Find and Array Compare
thanks bsork !
btw, any example of applications..?

I imagine that Array Find can be used in simple SysEx patches to get to the right input data; at least that's why I made it in the first place. SysEx messages are by nature different between manufacturers and devices, but all of them have a header of at least a handful of bytes that needs to be identified before you get to the interesting data parts. Also there's a possibility that several messages come together, so one might need to scan the array for finding all the data parts.
I'm still working on my FC300 SysEx patch which will need similar coding, so as it's not often that I program this kind of stuff I created a separate script to make debugging easier for myself. I made the Array Compare script first even though I actually don't need anything like it at the moment just because it's a simpler but similar program, and because I thought that as some other users do array trickery to handle strings and this kind of function is found in practically every standard programming library, it could be handy for them.
Also - if I've understood things correctly - some of the OSC patches created by others (I've only had a short test with OSC a long time ago myself) might benefit from something like this.

Thanks Bsork for this two scripts...

Just let you know that these two scripts are corrupt on the wiki page (0kb). The addons files works though.
Thanks moody. I won't have time to do anything with this in a few days, but eventually...
