Hi

I suggest to make a friendly challenge for who want to make a song with using according few rules:

All must be provide by usine (for example samples must be to the default folder audio).

you can use synthesis pack and all the patch in the add-ons but no vst or vst-i except if there are mentionned in add-ons (ex : moody shift

you can record audio with the sampler module but only accoustic instuments..

If someone is interested perhaps it could be a great idea to share the workspaces used to create your song.

I think about this challenge because it seems to me interesting to share our tips and knoledge about usine.

the goal isn't to know who make the best song.

Bye and sorry for my very bad english

I don't think I'll have time to join in but I think it is an excellent idea. Usine is so open ended it will be a great learning experience to see how people are using it differently :)

January works for me. How about an additional constraint like interactivity or dynamic song composition or something else?

I've done this :

It's a lot of fun to do a song only with usine, but it's challenging ! I realized I was depending a lot on plugins !

And here is the workspace :

Looking forward to hear and try other's stuffs !

tanabarbier,
love the way you rearranged the patches so they fit in tracks and set the colors for visibility. and the song is cool too which is a nice added bonus. really set a high bar for the first entry.
