I don't understand why Usine (or anyone/anything) supports floating point tempo. Do you have a device that supports it? Because I've only seen it in Usine (though I'm not the most experienced) and I just can't wrap my head around why it is so tricky to just have a nice round BPM.

You're right, perfect synchro was disabled.

Okay I'm seeing decimal tempos everywhere now. I only really noticed them in Usine because it will often read 88.97 when I set it to 89. Do I understand correctly that it becomes particularly useful for tapped tempos?

Tap tempi or "handmade" loops... because human isn't rounded

I had to build my own tempo sync to be able to sequence Usine from an external device (elektron octatrack) , because Usine was not acurate enought.

Usine is still not perfectly synchronized with mobius (close, but not perfect).
I've found (today!) my solution : a script in Mobius vst that sends a midi message each time the loop restarts. In Usine, I use this midi note to trigger the cycle.

That möbius script sounds like a cool solution!
