congratulations !

new midi sampler, leap V2, etc.. that could help me a lot for what I'm doing right now, except I'm a bit anxious about the one thing I was awaiting : no 64-bit for mac in this list of highlighted new features ?

!!!!! Congrats Sensomusic !!!!!

I was shocked to see the new forums, because I know that can only mean one thing: Hollyhock 2 is here!

The screenshot of the new timeline grid looks so good. I can't wait to see, but it could just be what I've always been 'missing' -- I always end up using Usine more for sound design and wild experimentation than arrangement. This might change all that.

senso, can you upload it now? ;)

edit: I also have to say that the new site is night-and-day next to the old one. Crisp and delicious. One small note, though: even when I'm logged in, the site presents me with the option to "Login/Register". Just a heads up.

:D :D :D

Yeah, website looks much more professional now - Cool!

Looking forward to the timeline in HH II - the lack of a (usable) timeline made me switch to Bitwig completely a while ago, let's see if HH II can win me back ;-)

I don't see any mention of HH VST? Is that still on the roadmap?

Cheers,

Tom

Excellent! Looks like a lot of user & forum input went into that feature list!

I just gave HHII a plug over at vguitarforums.com:

Hello, - I typically hang at www.VGuitarForums.com

Thanks to efforts of Shawnb with HollyHock and Fishman Tripleplay
http://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index. ... 2#msg87942

- I had to no excuse to join the Hollyhock club. Building a TouchScreen PC for live based on Acer R7 15" 1920 x 1080" screen.
I'm exploring Touch Screens for live use at gigs

I will test several options

* Run Audio apps on a Acer R7 ( i5 1.8GHz, 12GB RAM) with MS Windows 8.1 Touch OS

or

* Run Audio Apps on Mac Mini with OSX, but remote controlled by the Acer R7 Windows Touch interface, using a Remote desktop, VNC connection

Look forward to reading and learning here!

It seems like the windows tablet as controller is probably a better choice. This is just in terms of having a beefier computer than you can fit into a tablet or laptop. Plus then the tablet/laptop does not need to be very powerful.

I have some questions about the update:

- Could you guys explain what the "be a sponsor" thing is about? What am I supposed to enter in the text field? My own name, that of somebody else? You advertise it in the top banner but it's not a link and I can't find an explanation about it...?

- If I buy the update now, will the additional year be added to my existing subscription?

- Where can I see how long my current subscription runs? I bought into the original HH beta which was for two years, but I remember that it was extended when the beta took longer than expected...

Would be good to make that stuff a bit clearer on the site ;-)

Cheers,

Tom

the goal of the sponsorship is you can talk about Usine around you, and if one of your friend buys a license, he gives your name as sponsor when he pay.
this way, you win 3 months added to your current license (so you can win 1 year of updates with 4 friends)

We know that we have to improve the profile possibilities, we think about it

contact me for your personal license details ( contact@sensomusic.org)

fractalist, I feel like our paths have crossed a while back...

Depending on how you use HH, you may find my FTP patch helpful, it helps route content based on your FTP guitar-mix-synth switch setting:

Thank you Sensomusic Team for all of the hard work and dedication in refining and improving this amazing software. Also, thanks for clarifying the sponsor info. I will spread the word in my circles. I look forward to upgrading shortly. How long is the unregistered RC11 valid for? I'm trying to balance time and money.

Best wishes,
John

Hahahaha. That should become a classic. A bumper sticker or T-shirt at a minimum.
