Minimize patch midi learn question.
I had made a MIDI bus, attached it to send to Usine module and attached it as MIDI input for a separate rack. I know the MIDI is sending through because it picks it up with MIDI learn. Driving the create parameter are two switches, each with an on value of .5. This is so that the MIDI will not be triggered unless both switches are activated.
So here is whats happening: a single switch or a button makes minimize and maximize work like a charm, but when the two switches are introduced, minimize and maximize starts randomly going on and off. Looking at the MIDI input section, i can see the blue MIDI activation bar hang out and spike at around .7 -1.0. I tried rounding, and pass if change, but it gives the same results. Any thoughts?

maybe simpler to use 2 switches sending 1, and a math/logical/ A and B module ?
Tried it. Total output using trace is .5.....not 1.0. Weird...
maybe i misunderstood but here a basic workspace , just add a midi learn on the 2 switches ?

I had a blonde moment. I left the value at .5. Should just change to 1!
Yea, so I just got home and tried A + B. Same thing keeps happening. I don't know what to do at this point...
in my example i use A and B, not A+ B
in Usine , logical modules ( like A and B) send the value 1 when the 2 conditions are ok

Alright. An hour or so playing around with it and here are my findings: when I do pass if change before MIDI create, the minimize, maximize works sorta how I want. Apparently Usine doesn't like when the minimize/maximize has an off value of "1" sent to it, wether from a button or a switch. I don't think I'm savvy yet to use stop flow properly, but I have a feeling that's the key to get it to randomly stop popping up and minimizing again. Observe in the picture the blue MIDI bar on the MIDI Input section. It is intermittent and almost random. Kind of makes me think this is a bug of some sort.

I don't understand what is your goal here, you first talk about 2 switches to minimize a patch
but why using midi bus for that ? data bus can minimize a patch ( see below )

now if you want use the create inlet, it's a button, not a switch, so use a 0 to 1 module this way:

This is exactly it! I had absolutely no idea there was a Patch Settings module. Still so much to learn....Thank you so much! Definitely minimizing/maximizing from another patch using patch settings and data send bus.
