HH and Eurorack modular synth
HH and Eurorack modular synth
Does anyone use HH with a modular Eurorack synthesizer?
If so, whitch interface do you use to communicate between HH and the eurorack system?
Thanks, have a nice day.

the Arturia BeatStep works fine with Usine.

Thank you.
But is it possible to send a clock from Usine to Modular Synth via BeatStep?
Can I program a sequencer, or a complex LFO in Usine and transform them into GATE and CV via BeatStep to send them to the Modular Synth?
I would like to use the power of Usine to modulate my Modular Synth ...
There are modules that transform midi into CV. But there are few of them and they are expensive. If someone has already experimented with this, I'm interested.
Thank you.

as long as you have audio interface with DC coupling, you can send out CV/Gate as audio out on different channels.
With controllers like BeatStep perhaps it's possible to feed it midi from Usine and then controller would convert it to CV/Gate?

Hello,
I’m using this one http://www.hexinverter.net/mutant-brain which is really "multipurpose" ( several cv, gates, you can configurate as you want...), but have no USB and is not cheap.
Or Doepfer Mcv 4, cheaper but with less possibilities https://doepfer.de/mcv4.htm

The mutant brain serms to be very usefull and not so much expensive. The Shuttle Control by endorphin.es is very more expensive.

… but there is an usb plug.
Is it easy to patch in HH for work with it ?
Thank you.

Yes, it's quite easy to patch. I use a rack with midi inputs and clock sources that I can patch to Mutant Brain.
